When I lived in Arizona, it was the only state in the nation that did not subscribe to the Uniform Building Code. Building houses on disturbed caliche was only legal in Arizona.
It was the only state in the nation that did not subscribe to the Uniform Commercial Code. Various business cooperation societies refuse to have conferences in a state that refuses to conform to the majority.
Now it is number one in the idiot states laws. My wife, a Peruvian, wanted to move to Arizona with me. The last few days have convinced her that we would be better off in Mexico.
